1. Who we are

Siantira ("we", "us", "our") operates Siantira Visibility, a tool that helps UK freelancers and sole traders understand and improve their visibility in AI search tools such as ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google AI Overviews. 2. Information we collect

• Free audit: when you run a free citation audit, we collect your name, profession, and city.
• Profile & account details: if you subscribe, we collect your account email address (via Stripe at checkout) and the business profile details you provide during onboarding — business name, service area, services offered, years of experience, qualifications, client types, and your unique selling point.
• Session data: when you log in, we set a single essential cookie (__session) to keep you signed in. It's HttpOnly, expires after 30 days, and contains only a signed session token — no tracking data.
• Magic link tokens: when you request a login link, we generate a token, store a hashed (SHA-256) version of it, and it expires after 15 minutes or immediately after use.

3. How we use your information

• Run AI citation audits across ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google AI Overviews
• Generate and publish your AI-optimised profile page
• Rescan your visibility and refresh your profile content each month
• Send you login links and monthly performance reports
• Process your subscription payment and manage your account

4. Who we share it with

We use a small number of specialist third parties to provide the service. We share only what's needed for them to do their job:

• OpenAI — generates your profile content and runs ChatGPT-based citation checks
• Perplexity — runs citation checks against Perplexity's AI search
• SerpAPI — checks Google AI Overviews for citations
• Stripe — processes your subscription payment; we never see or store your full card details
• Resend — sends your login links and monthly reports by email
• Supabase — hosts our database
• Vercel — hosts the application and provides cookieless website analytics (page views and referrers) so we can understand overall site traffic

We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising.

5. If you're a client added by an agency

If an agency adds you as a client through their dashboard, the agency controls what information is entered about you and is the data controller for that information. We process it on the agency's behalf to run audits and generate your profile. Any questions about your data in this case should go to the agency first; direct any concerns about our processing to visibility@siantira.com.

6. Cookies

We use one cookie: the essential session cookie described above, needed to keep you logged in. We also use Vercel Web Analytics to understand overall site traffic (page views, referrers) — this is cookieless and doesn't track you individually or across other sites. Since we don't use any advertising or tracking cookies, no cookie consent banner is shown.

7. How long we keep your data

We keep your account and profile data for as long as your subscription is active. If you cancel, we retain your data for a reasonable period in case you resubscribe, then delete it. You can ask us to delete your data at any time by emailing visibility@siantira.com.

8. Your rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Ask us to correct inaccurate data
• Ask us to delete your data
• Object to or restrict certain processing
• Complain to the Information Commissioner's Office if you think we've mishandled your data
